Made from the yarn that comes with the crochet kit the cat turns out a size of approx. 10 cm (4 inch) length and 7 cm (2,7 inch) height.

To make the cat big enough to install a pull string music box insert, use worsted weight yarn (size 3, light / e.g. Scheepjes Cahlista, or Yarn and Colors Epic) on a crochet hook size 3.5 mm (US: E/4, UK: 9) and change the eyes size to 10-12 mm (0.4-0.5 inch) diameter.
