Lalylala Rabbit Rita

This is Rita

Rita is the granddaughter of the March Hare and niece of the White Rabbit, which erstwhile Alice followed to Wonderland. You know - Wonderland is located right next to Lalylaland - so you can not miss! Even when Rita was a little bunny she was a regular guest at the Mad Hatter’s un-birthday parties. That’s where she found her favorite teacup decorated with a fine English tea rose. With a bit of cross-stitch wizardry such a rose adorns RITAs little belly now.

This pattern is an add-on to our series of lalylala dolls

What is an add-on? An add-on is a little additional pattern to a commercial lalylala pattern. By using the add-on you can modify the original amigurumi or add new parts to turn it into something else. You can't use an add-on without the original pattern that it's related to. You can modify Rita based on the most lalylala dolls patterns such as Unicorn Yumi, Bear Bina, Kangaroo Kira, Dragon Dirk, or any other hooded lalylala doll with legs.

Cross Stitch Rose

Follow the cross stitch chart to embroider the rose onto Rits's belly.

Since you've crocheted several increases and decreases to shape the body, you need to pass some spots and improvise a bit where the cross-stitches can't be made exactly one above the other.

Hoppy Easter!
